Hi guys im new to firefly thanks for having me on your site btw
im a long term Buffy and Angel fan (and now firefly lol) i cant believe i didn't make the effort to see this when it first aired its now one of my favourite tv shows ever and i haven't even watched all the episodes yet ( i bought the dvd set after watching serenity) i only have two more episodes to go then im planning on re watching them all over again lol
anyway my question is that i recognise a lot of the cast from Buffy and or Angel but my question relates specifically from the episode ..The Messsage
and the character Tracey im pretty sure i remember him being in Buffys "conversations with dead people" episode and a few of Angels episodes in the last season is this the same guy or am i wrong ?

Why don't you just do a little google-ing and see what comes up... Just try cast searches for each episode... I'm pretty sure at the start of The Message it says that this person is making a guest appearance so yes... Just do a little detective work

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Tracey was played by Jonathan Woodward, who was the vampire that Buffy knew from school and had the long conversation with in "Conversations With Dead People." He also played Knox in Season 5 of Angel.

I think there are several other actors who were in all three series, but the most prominent was Carlos Jacott, who played the Fed in the pilot episode "Serenity." He was in the Buffy Season Three premiere episode "Anne," and was in the Angel Season One ep playing the demon who was going to marry Doyle's ex-wife.

yeh i recognised the fed from the first episode as ken from Buffys "anne" thanks for the confirmation though that Tracey was who i thought he was im not good with names but i never forget a face well i finished watching the series this afternoon urgh what a shame theres so little episodes cause i hadnt been this excited about a show since Buffy lol
