Are The BDH's Getting Too Popular?

I read today that Gina Torres will co-star with Chris Rock in an upcoming movie....she's paid a lot of dues in Hollywood and deserves the big time. Nathan's film career seems to be on the rise to his much-deserved credit. Summer Glau's popularity grows every second....she'll soon be the media's new favorite darling.

Will all this post-Firefly fame and fortune diminish the chances that they would do another Firefly TV series again, or even another Serenity?

Doubt it. The whole cast fell in love with the show, and formed friendships with each other and with Joss.

You're forgetting that Joss, the cast and the crew are Firefly's biggest fans. They more than anyone want to see it continue. The only problems may be with contracts taking up too much of their time.

The more time that passes and as they continue to advance their careers it will be harder and harder to ever get them together again...that is a sad fact.....yes they're all great friends, they love the show , the fans, and Joss, but I fear that their well-deserved fame & recognition for other works will keep them apart for a long time...I hope I'm wrong though.

OTOH, when they do get back together, imagine what a huge "event" that'll be.

People have suggested that Serenity would've done better with big name stars. By the time the sequel gets here, it'll have 'em.

yes it probably does.. well, for a TV show... but I think they could still fit feature films into all that.... so Serenity2 and 3 are likely.

Saw the trailer for Gina's film with Chris Rock.. it is called "I think I still love my Wife".. Gina plays Chris' wife...

I wish them all success.. they all deserve it. But yes, I am saddened that we most likely won't get more of the 'verse in TV format, where the characters build and grow...

Chindi.. feeling sort of blue all of a sudden...
