I don't want to discount the vast majority of you beautiful people who've all made me feel right home from the start but I really would like to know who in the community would want to join my first shindig at my new home.

Once I'm settled in Its the first thing I'm organising so anyone interested then let me know.

Not that I'm not inviting evertone on the boards, I mean shindigs are cool but it is pretty hardcore to get on a plane for one

Depending on the date and what the transport is like to the location, I'd love to get involved in a UK-based Firefly-athon. Got no Firefly-esque clothing to dress in, but I could go hunting...or I could always get naked.

On the other hand, I think it'd be best if I hunted for clothing...

I'd love to be included in a UK shindig, depending on where and when though...

I don't care what you believe in, just believe in it.

A bit far for me, but I've recently moved and have been thinking of having a shindig too (a standard housewarming just won't cut it).

I would love to go, but a £45 train journey to Norwich is a bit too much.

I'm from Sussex but have a motorbike and willing to travel, we could always arrange something (being concious that we don't want to fill your house) to meet up in London in a pub or something if we get lots of people.
