Was most disappointed when I saw the results of the 2006 TV DVD Awards...

Best 2000 Series went to Lost: Season 1
Best One-Season Wonder went to The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr..

Brisco is a great show (another sci-fi western mix..go figure)...but I would still pick firefly as the better show.

It looks to me that the only DVD sets that were eligible were ones that had been released in the past year (not absolutely sure though).

So, I am very happy that Brisco won an award.

One of these days when I save enough money, I'll pick it up.

(Before someone gets on me by mentioning that From the Earth to The Moon is on there, a new "improved" widescreen edition was released in '05)

Ah, of course! Had a brain-fart on that, since this is the first time I've heard of these awards.

Well, in that case... Way to go, Brisco!

Also too, why didn't they put more stuff on the DVD set?

I mean, I never even knew that there was a voice over intro to the show until I saw it on t.v.

WTH?

As DVD sets go, the Firefly one is pretty packed. Factor in that it was originally released when the show hadn't developed it's current following and the content seems even more impressive.
