a hint to Mutant Enemy, Fux, Sci-Fi, or whoever:

I've given up hope for more eps, a second season or another BDM but there's still existing stuff I'd spend money on.

More deleted scenes- scrape that film off the cutting room floor.

More outtakes-- love those goodie reels.

More trailers- I love the links that have been posted here, and the chance to see what other folks have done with existing footage. Turn some amateurs or hobbyists loose.

More documentaries-- love "Here's How It Was " and "The 10th Crew Member"- get more stuff from the other cast members, guest stars, other Points of View.

More commentary- on the series DVD, theres comentary on about 1 ep per disk. Other actors, other folks must have a lot to share about those same, and the other eps...

More books- got "Finding Serenity" already. must be more folks with analysis or experiences to relate.

SO, how 'bout you-all? What would you spend money on?

I really like the idea of an "extra commentary" edition of Firefly or Serenity. Or any dvd, for that matter.

And I've heard that the region 2 dvd has more outtakes and other goodies that I'd buy if it were available for region 1.
In the meantime, anyone know of that stuff on youtube, perhaps?

Absolutely! Stuff from the cutting room floor, unused takes, alternate camera angles, and new commentaries bundled with the series? I would in all seriousness pay up around $100 for that collection. And I'd pay around $50 for the same stuff from the BDM. I'd be willing to order (and pay) in advance, if that would help!

The shiny collectors tin. More commentaries. Extra outtakes. The Australian extras. All the trailers. (Even trailers in other languages, that would be a hoot.)

There is word of a larger Serenity figure to come.

BTW I love my Serenity Zippo. I may have to take up smoking. And the Firefly trading cards are shiny and lots of fun. There are mistakes on some of the data (e.g. a picture of Mal reviving River on Ariel is captioned "River is revived by her brother.") but even spotting them is fun. And I got a Gina Torres autograph card. Can't wait for my ornament.
