i think my local comic shop is sick of me asking if he has a date on the new firefly/serenity comic series. i was wondering if anyone had any news on it. i haven't heard anything since it was first announced months ago. thanks

the Serenity comics will be Dark Horse, w/Brett Mathews co-writing again, and will be titled:
Serenity: Better Days
but I don't think we can expect it before early 2007

Joss' BtVS comics (Dark Horse) will be this Fall, w/the Buffy Season 8 starting early next year

AND Joss will be taking over the writing of Runaways (Marvel) from Vaughan

of course Joss is also continuing to write his Astonishing X-men (Marvel) comics

Anyway, we'll have to be patient for the next set of Serenity comics...

I can say with some confidence that they are working on a new series due next year...they even have a pretty neat idea for the plot...or at least the close source I have described something cool to me...if i say anything else I will be erased...
