A rhyme to the eps that never was;

Malcolm Reynolds looked out the cargo hold of his ship,
He heard Kaylee say “Go-se” as she slipped,
He thought this cargo would be much better,
Less trouble than hauling around live leather, (cows)
At least Jayne didn’t have to use that rutting bullwhip,

“Is that all?’ Mal asked Book while walking down the ship’s ramp,
“That’s it.” The Shepherd said as the cage door he clamped,
They had returned to the planet Jiangyin,
And with new cargo they did bring,
This cargo would never have gotten a USDA stamp,

For the cargo they then wanted their payment of coin,
Then the crew on Serenity Mal, Jayne and Book would rejoin,
The merchandise this time wasn’t beef,
Should go much smoother was their belief,
The transaction taking place wasn’t dealing with smelly sirloin,

Hearing a sound Mal turned and found that the cargo had escaped,
He uttered a curse then said “ Now ain’t this ruttin great!”,
Seems the cage had been too big to hold,
The merchandise as yet unsold,
Getting payment seems would come a wee bit late,

Rounding up the goods took the better part of all day,
How long it took Mal Reynolds really couldn’t say,
Chasing things that were so small,
Was worse that dealing with Patience on Whitefall,
Inara would be for sure unhappy with all of the delay,

Next job they took Mal decided should be lawful and legal,
For such small things these critters could be most evil,
The cargo hold was full of dog poo,
Another mess cleaned up by an unhappy crew,
Yepper, had been a bad idea to haul black market Beagles.

that was a good one. i rather enjoyed that piece of poetry. i was humming it to kind of a western tune, I'm not sure thats what you were going for, but I liked it quite nicely.

maybe u should do some more.
