My friend Jim got the Firefly boxed set for Christmas--and I immediately snatched from under him! Since then, I've watched the series 7 times and have converted two people into the fold.

Best. Sci-Fi show. Ever.

I'd like to point out something I noticed last night while watching "Trash." When Kaylee and Jayne are changing the dump coordinates of the garbage scow, the computer screen next to the circuit boards displays Windows2000!

In addition, when the shuttle is landing on the estate with Mal and Saffron, an SR-71 flies by in the background!

Are these intentional? I think so--after all, Joss spent so much time carefully crafting the look and feel of the show, I hardly think these were mistakes.

Awesome show, folks. If Joss can't get the money to greelight the movie, I propose we each send it 10 bucks. Hey, it's a start!

I know, it's such a chore!

When you watch the series over and over, you catch so many tiny details. One of my favorites is in "Trash" when Jayne is telling Simon and River to stay put. Then Simon says, "The bounty on us just keeps getting more exciting."

At that moment, Jayne says "Well, I wouldn't know." but sneaks a peak at them--because he's still worried they'll find out about his betrayal.

Classic.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Welcome to the board DMMagic. It is great to have another Browncoat join the fold. Seems the DVD set is converting more people everyday. A good thing really if the movie is to happen.

I noticed the SR-71 in Trash, but I did not notice the Windows one the computer screen that Jayne & Kaylee were working on. I will have to go back & watch it again to catch it.
