Quote:tdbrown wrote on Aug 29 2006, 06:07 PM I received the following e-mail today: HI Tim, I wanted to contact you about possibly screening Serenity at The Cinemat on September 30th. I called you earlier today and left a message, but I thought I would just send you this anyway. It is certainly a do-able possibility to show the movie on that date. However, we would need to be sure that you could guarantee there being at least 25 people there to buy tickets to help pay for the cost of the movie. Also, it would be easier for us if the movie could be shown around 12:00 midnight on Friday night (the 29th) as opposed to Saturday. This would still technically be on the 30th of September, and could be billed as an anniversary showing, but it would be late enough for us not to have to pre-empt any of our showings. Let me know how much of this is possible or if you have any other suggestions. thanks, Walker R. OKAY....... I need to hear from at least 25 people real soon if this sounds like something y'all might go for. The Cinemat, for those who don't know, is a Video Store on Walnut Street in Bloomington, 1/2 block south of the Town Square. They have a Screening Room that seats up to 70 people, where they show films on a regular basis. Does this "Midnight Movie" plan sound good to anyone??? If so, speak up REAL soon! :) Thanx! :D
