If anyone remembers, back when the Fox website was up, they put out a web promo (I think it might even have been some sort of e-invite) where we see Mal's distress call (that we don't actually see in the episode). It was a clever dual distress call for the actual show, and within the story.

I asked after this way back when, so I'm not hopeful, but I was just listening to the War Stories commentary when Nathan mentions it, got me hankering for it again!
