I think Tracy's funeral was a great way to say goodbye to Firefly, it has just enough sadness to be meaningful, but enough hope that things in the 'verse will continue! Jayne's line about their resident "mind readin' genius" also made more sense to me, after seeing Objects In Space, because at the end of OIS, the crew seems to have finally unconditionally accepted River.
