I was wondering - has anyone else had a Firefly dream?! (Not about any particular character....

)
Cos I had a really vivid one last night, and this is what I remember!
I dreamt that Mal was fighting Monty from 'Trash'. Monty and Mal had completed some job together and were settling payment but Mal wanted to keep more of the money than was due, saying that Monty owed him some from some previous (unexplained) event. Monty disagreed saying it was Mal who owed him the money, and Mal drew his gun on Monty. Monty then says (exact words!)"Where you pointing that thing?"
Mal replies "Right at your face Monty". Monty says "Thats what I thought" and draws his own gun pointing it in Mal's face. Zoe and Book were both there, with their weapons pointing at Monty. Then this really massive muscly guy with spikes in his knees (where he came from I dunno, it was a dream!) runs at Zoe. She did some crazy gymnastic leap to avoid him, he span around and jumped really, really high into the air and knocked all this metal stuff from the ceiling. So all this heavy metal stuff was falling down, then 'the camera' cuts away and I could see it was about to land on Book. Then - blackness. I could see this writing 'End of part one'. Then the credits rolled. I'm not kidding you. I woke up right away and I was just astounded. What the hell had just happened?!
So there you have it. I had watched Serenity just before I went to sleep last night so maybe that was it! Has anyone else ever had a really specific Firefly dream like that?

Not so specific. I do have some very vivid scenes on occasion, and I keep a notebook by the bed for this very purpose. Some mornings, I think, 'oh,good, plot bunny'. Other mornings, it's more 'wtf...?'

A lot of 'Zen and the Art...' came from a very vivid dream of the Training House, and was certainly influenced by watching 'Fearless' at the cinema.

On the other hand, my husband woke me up in the middle of the night a while ago to tell me about a dream he had involving Dustin Hoffman on Serenity (!) The man still denies that he is a Browncoat.

I would try and flesh your dream out - sounds like a nice little story in the making.

i had a very strange one last night, i was on serenity, i was about 18 years old, in reality im 13, and i was walking down the cargo bay, i tripped over river laying over the floor, she got up, we started fighting with swords, not sure WHERE the swords came from, but we kept figting, doing cool kung fu and samuri moves, then we disarmed each other, with bumps and brusies and our clothes in slashed rags, the cargo bay looked pretty bad too, then river jumped into my arms...it gets a bit personal (and R rated) after that.

maybe your gonna get the part 2 soon?

I had a dream something to the effect of Wash was there. And that was mostly it. And if I'm not mistaken it was more Alan than Wash, so maybe it was a Alan Tudyk dream. Which was weird. Nothing really happened though. When I watch three or more eps of Firefly in a day, I'm pretty much guaranteed to dream about it.

The night I first saw Serenity I had a dream I was in a large building with some people, there were something like reavers outside but fortunately it was quite secure and they didn't get near.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

I had the best dream last night. Bear with me because I know it doesn't sound like a Firefly dream at first.
I was staying in a hotel or something, maybe it was an apartment, but I was on the ground floor and my window looked out into the street. I was sitting at a desk writing a letter, and this shadow passes across my window. I look outside and there's a parade, a huge parade going by my window, and right in the middle of it is our girl *mists up* Serenity, with people flocking around her, little children wearing brown leather coats, hailing her.
What was strange was that she had some black detailing and things, but I knew it was her, and I ran out there and went yelling after the crowd, and was told they had finally made a working model of the ship and... *mists up again* It was like that world being brought into this. It was beautiful. I remember begging and pleading to be allowed to fly her... And then my stupid alarm had to ruin it for me.
