Good day to y'all.

I am a new member to this site. I watched all of firefly and serenity over the past fews days and have become somewhat addicted to it. (Especially for someone that doesn't watch tv) I was disappointed that there is only one season, I was really looking forward to a second season. (get signing that petition people)

I would like to take this opportunity to say how well the site looks and it's fantastic to see so much support. Great to see.

I've always wanted my own browncoat

The tale of how I found firefly/serenity began way back in the day. I don't watch a lot of tv. To be perfectly honest, I'm lucky to see half an hour of news a week on tv. However, during a commercial break I was channel flicking rather rapidly and I noticed a commerical on another channel advertsing firefly. It looked awesome. I made a mental note to watch the show as it was on the following week.

Unfortunately due to work commitments I missed it. I also missed serenity on the big screen. So I was one unhappy browncoat. The Alliance had kept me from seeing the truth.

Then some time passed, I always kept my eye on commercials to see when this awesome looking show might appear. There was nothing.

More time passed, a lot more time, and I found just last week firefly and serenity for sale. There was no expense spared, I didn't really care, I had to see this show. I took my firefly and serenity home and I figured that I had to watch firefly first. So I stayed up late and I would watch a minimum of two episodes at a time. Yesterday I watched two episodes in the morning before work, came home and watched the remaining three, then watched serenity.

I was completely absorbed and drawn to it. I can't get enough.

There's my story.
