I don't RPG but I got the first book Serenity Role Playing Game and loved it for the pics
and tons of info on the 'verse. Hoping the new one will have more story.

from www.serenityrpg.com

"MWP Staff Attends Comic-Con. Margaret Weis, Renae Chambers, and Sean Everette are now off to San Diego to attend Comic-Con International, one of the largest entertainment focused events that incorporates comics, games, television, movies, and so much more. Please visit us at Booth #5014 (Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd.) We're pleased and honored to have Tracy and Laura Hickman, authors of Out in the Black, attending the show and ready to show of the shiny new adventure product coming soon to a hobby game store near you! "

So if you are going to the San Diego Comic-Con 2006 this weekend, stop by and see the Hickmans.
Ask them if they recommend Out in the Black for non-RPGers. Of course, I'm buying it anyways.
Have to stop by a Barnes and Noble store. They carry the Serenity Role Playing Game book.

Crap, I was just in a Barnes and Noble today but didn't see it. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go back another day. Unfortunately I find that the science fiction/graphic novel section always seem to be the least organized. But that's possibly because they're arranged by author, but also by series (e.g. Star Wars)

I found the Serenity Role Playing Game book in amongst other Role Playing Game books. I'm assuming in August this will be in that section too...but I'm going to go to the desk and order it.
