In the 1930's Flash Gordon launched into space
In the 50's Rocky Jones Space Ranger joined in the race
In the 60's Lost in Space entered our TV screen
Then Star Trek pushed itself in to be seen
But now in the millinium Firefly is setting the pace

My temper rises when stalled in slow traffic
I want to leap from my car to give a swift kick
But I found some release
Thinking up that last piece
While stuck in my car I came up with silly a limerick
