Children's book makes subtle tribute to FIREFLY?

There's a children's book that was published in 2003 called "Felix and the Worrier" by Rosemary Wells. (Ms. Wells is also the creator of the popular "Max & Ruby" cartoon on NickJr.)

My kids picked up this book in the library and brought it home. When we were reading it, we came across a page in which the main character was wearing what looks like a Jayne hat! Then, on the same page as the Jayne hat, his mommy refers to him as "my little firefly."

It's either a subtle tribute or a strange coincidence!

FLAME

I went to the author's website but couldn't find any way to contact her. I tried just sending to "rosemarywells @ rosemarywells.com " because sometimes websites are set up to deliver any email that comes to whatever @ yourwebsite.com - but it didn't go through.

If anyone else manages to contact her, let us know!
