The auction dates have been set for all 14 of Adam Baldwin’s Firefly scripts. Throughout this summer and fall everyone will have a chance to bid on and win a piece of Firefly/Serenity history.

These are Adam’s personal shooting scripts of each episode. All 14 are signed by the entire cast, plus Joss Whedon and Tim Minear. Some of the scripts are also signed by guest stars, writers and/or directors.

100% of the proceeds (minus any eBay fees) will be donated to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation ( www.mclef.org) at Adam’s request. For all the details and auction dates check out the California Browncoats website.

I love the idea of owning memoribilia from the show, but does anybody see the irony in the fact that the real life actor portraying Jayne would have us donate our money to the Alliance?

How is that organization Alliance? It's not an arm of the government, which makes participation in it or cooperation with it 100% voluntary. Voluntary is the opposite of our Alliance-style government. Also, unlike a lot of non-profit/charity groups, it doesn't support any effort to make anyone's life less free - it gives out scholarships for education.
