The Arlington Drafthouse logo has the big marquee that goes up and down, and if I didn't turn the text sideways it would have just been wasted space on either side of it. It's purely a logistics thing.

Oh, she didn't. Except maybe just for those pictures. They put it on the poster though, and it looks shiny, so hey.

She held the Lasiter (sp?) laser pistol and pointed it at Saffron in "Trash", then switched to a regular one when the Lasiter wouldn't fire.

In the final battle of the BDM she does have some sort of crossbow, but that's just not the same.

If you want to pick a few nits, when did River/Summer ever look that good?
In the series/movie she always looked like she was sick and/or needed to wash her hair.

I think she meant when, in the movie, did Inara ever hold a gun. Since the poster is for the movie and shows her holding a gun. Like I said, they put that picture on there, not me.
It was originally a bow and arrow she had in the movie; they changed it digitally after shooting was already done because test audiences didn't think it was "cool" enough.
