The Arlington Drafthouse logo has the big marquee that goes up and down, and if I didn't turn the text sideways it would have just been wasted space on either side of it. It's purely a logistics thing.

Oh, she didn't. Except maybe just for those pictures. They put it on the poster though, and it looks shiny, so hey.
I think that was actually the German poster? German sounds right.

She held the Lasiter (sp?) laser pistol and pointed it at Saffron in "Trash", then switched to a regular one when the Lasiter wouldn't fire.

I think she meant when, in the movie, did Inara ever hold a gun. Since the poster is for the movie and shows her holding a gun. Like I said, they put that picture on there, not me.
It was originally a bow and arrow she had in the movie; they changed it digitally after shooting was already done because test audiences didn't think it was "cool" enough.
