Big Damn Chefs news: Jewel Staite joins the team!

We've received recipe submissions from none other than Jewel Staite! She said, "I think it's an awesome idea, and I absolutely love to cook, even though I'm a bit of a rookie at it. Can't say any of my recipes are gourmet in the least, but I thought I'd send you a couple to include, if you like." Do we like? You betcha we do! She sent us: Jewel's Greasy Breakfast "Sanny" and Beefy-Cheesy Manicotti. She also said, "Wish I had Gina's paella recipe, but she said if she told me, she'd have to kill me."

Also, we got a call from Greg Edmonson who said he and his wife are working on writing up his favorite Pepper Steak recipe. We're looking forward to seeing it!

Check out the interview on The Signal w/ Gina. They talk about her cooking, and she LOVES to cook. Not that I doubt it one bit, but how her and hubby Lawrence stay looking the way they do is a mystery.

And yes, she is phenominally cool!
