Never got into it. Always said, "Sounds kinda cool, ill get it next month" and all of the sudden it was one of the older MMORPG on the market. Dont play many MMORPG anymore anyway.

I like the notion of MMORPG, but it went wrong, I think. I thought there'd be a tight atmosphere like you wouldn't believe in MMORPGS, but you can hardly get more removed from "experiencing" it because you feel more like you're on a drunk hardcore fan party where everyone is in costume - and drunk. And there's half a dozen menues open half the time, and you fight by marking an enemy and clicking on symbols in the HUD, and you can run by most enemies because you have to attack them if you want a fight.
Meh.

I did raise an eyebrow when I heard a bout Age of Conan, though. Sounds interesting, with the RTS elements and the formations and most of all, the live-action fighting system.

But, uhm, no, never played AO, or anyother MMORPG (except for Trials for EQ2 and Ragnarok). Conan is by the same people who made AO, though, which is good, because they have a lot of MMOPRG experience.

I got in on the final beta trials of AO, way back in the day. Didn't have enough money at the time to actually pay for the retail version, though :)

I was Eve Online's bitch for quite some time, though. Had to (painfully) give it up, though. I love the whole MMORPG idea, but just really don't have the time to invest in one atm.

Age of Conan does sound really interesting, though. After playing Eve, and constantly running into people who didn't know how to fly their ship, having a single-player sort of tutorial thing at the beginning makes a lot of sense.
