I was reading this week's Onion online (it's a satirical newspaper), when I stumbled upon a clear Firefly-ism in one of the letters written to Dan Savage in the Savage Love section.

A few weeks ago, I met a guy that I think is amazingly shiny—

I was so excited! Either the writer is a Browncoat or Firefly-speak is starting to rub off on the uninitiated. My first Firefly find outside the 'verse!

For those who would like to see the letter themselves I've posted the link below, although I should warn you that Savage Love (and The Onion in general) would be the equivalent of Rated R. Not for the pee-wee Browncoats.
