Strange German Firefly Promo Thingy...

It's the pilot and The Train Job on one DVD, with an English and a German audio track and a coupon for 5 Euros off the Firefly DVD set. A great way to promote the series, and I have no idea where it comes from! I bought all 3, about 8 bucks each. I dunno if I will keep them as collector's items or give them away as presents to people that I can't afford to get the whole set for (60 bucks over here).

Before you ask, the text on the cover says:

"TV SERIES FOR TEST VIEWING
Test 2 episodes and get 5 Euros back on the purchase of the whole season.
Joss Whedon's
FIREFLY
The departure of the Serenity
Episodes 1+2"

I guess they put the "departure" line in there to get people to see the connection to Serenity, since the series never aired here. Plus they just love to put stupid slogans under every movie title they can find, preferrably with the phrase "of death" in it and explaining half of the plot.

It says they will be delivered in May. Anyone know what this is about? I asked the lady who put them up for auction but haven't gotten a response yet.

America loves a winner!

Being of German heritage, but not able to speak a word of it, this seems like a novel idea. At least some one is TRYING to promote the 'verse, even if a bit late.
