Just watching a rerun of WKRP in Cincinnati and thought..

"Wow! Wouldn't Gary Sandy (Andy Travis)make a great Pa Reynolds?"

Besides a distinct resemblance to Nathan Fillion, Sandy seems to have some very similar qualities.

Bruce Boxleitner would also be a great choice not only does he love westerns but ridding horses is a favorite past time of his. So hell yeah he'd make a great addition to the Firefly Verse. And I know I can't be alone in thinking Tom Baker would be great as Badgers Dad.
