Stay in the safe!

SERENITY: Some really rowdy out of towners show up uninvited, start kilin' the locals and you're told to stay in the bank vault. Do you listen? Hell no! You figure that hitching a ride w/ some folks you JUST met make more sense. Only one small prob.... they don't want you! There's no room, too much weight..what ever , they kick you to the curb and...well, you end up dead.

24 : 2 guys break into your house, drag you to the bank you work at, and demand you let them gain access to someone's lock box. They THEN inform you there are bad man out there w/ guns who want to kill them, and because you're with them, the bad guys will kill you as well. The 2 guys then figure out an escape , for the 2 of them, and tell you to stay in the bank safe. But do you listen? Hell no!
" I wanna go w/ the 2 guys who broke into my house, dragged me to a hostile situation where other bad guys have guns and want to kill me just because I'm hanging around w/ these 2 guys! "

Guess what ? You chose-------- poorly.

Dumbass.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

Well here are a couple of things I have learned from watching Serenity.

If I ever have a bad day at work and feel "how could things get worse?" I think about this, Standing up strait. Stiff as a board. Looking down at the point of a sharp sword that I'm about to fall on and gut myself. All the while some guy is telling me how good my work is and how dieing like a gutted fish has so much honor in it. That would really suck.

Or leason 2. Being raped and eaten alive until I'm dead (only my good tasting parts) while some of me ends up decorating the aubryholes that are doing this to me's flying machine.
