An Idea for Flyers?

Hey, I'm new to the Firefly 'verse. Just a recent convert who never knew it existed back in the day.

But, I see these posts about trying to get a grass-roots movement doing something to get the show on the air.

I've done what I can, monetarily, in terms of buying everything out there that I can to buy.

So, what about just giving it some more free advertising?

What if every Firefly fan, just printed out a handfull of FireFly flyers, and stapled them to the nearest street-posts around their homes, offices and malls?

It's Cheap - free if you can print at home or work (it doesn't have to even be in color if your really cheap).

Who knows if how effective it would be, but it would be interesting and might draw attention to "the cause".

I can't think of any time I've seen flyers for a TV show, or movie posted all over the place, but if there is interest, I'll make up a flyer template even so lazy people don't have to do anything more than download and hit "print"

Put them up on sign posts, put them up at work, leave them on the floor, put them on people's car windshields...drop 'em out of airplanes...rain down FireFly flyers on everybody...

...at the very least it will be entertaining to see how many we can get out there and how widespread it could become.

That's positive thinking.

See, I've seen comparison with Enterprise and its fans doing rumors already... but it's not the same thing.
Star Trek fans have always been in a very narrow niche, and companies know it.

But Firefly it's different.
Its ONLY and ONE problem is that no one has really heard of it.
When one HAPPENS to see the serie, he gets instantly hooked. I've heard a story of a MOM converting her son (or daughter).
I had a hard time keeping in mind that we're talking about a sci-fi show... I tried to convert my parents to sci-fi for a lifetime...

Anyhow... we must make noise.
Because Firefly's related noise can only REVERBERATE.
To the point that it'll be impossible not to notice!!!!

Seriously though. I want to see people dropping those flyers all over the place. I haven't seen one yet, here in LA (not that I've been looking). I'll print out a ton and drop them whever I go.

Oh, those flyers are the pretties!!!

I like this very, very much. And the stickers. Everybody loves stickers.

Check the other thread on potential action on June 23. It would be such a day.
