Has the movie become a mini-series, is it filming in Australia and will it be shown on the Sci-Fi channel like the Battlestar Galactica mini-series (which is also a Universal production)?

Methinks it was a typo of Farscape. That's the series with the mini rumors.

I'll go with Farscape as well, though the Australian outback would be perfect for Firefly's western look.

that's exactly what I thought. they meant Farscape not Firefly. they both have lots in common, for once they are my two favourite series of all times ever.

would be cool to have some more Farscape in the near future. 2003 was a bad year with no Firefly and no Farscape. looks like 2004 will be a much better year for me.

Oh... it's a pity if that's true... well, not for having a Farscape mini-series, that's fab - but I was looking forward to a Firefly filmed in Australia...
