I just saw SLITHER

I just came back from a screening of Slither, staring our man Nathan. This movie ROCKS! Think H.P. Lovecraft, Dawn of the Dead, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and a little Jaws; and you have a really cool movie. Perfect part for Nathan too, he plays the Sheriff of this sleepy little town that gets over run by Alien Brain Slugs. Also stars Gregg Henry another Firefly Alumni from “The Train Job”. I hope this movie does well in the Box Office, so Hollywood can see Nathan in more leading man roles. I like to see all my Firefly cast members do well. I like to think of them as old friends you don’t keep in touch with any more but still hear about them through the grapevine. So when you do hear about them doing other projects you can say, “See I knew he/she would do well, there was a lot of talent there.” I hope all my old friends will do well in the future.

glad to hear you liked it. I can't wait for it to come out. I think it looks great. Even if I didn't, i'd still be seeing it to support Nathan. Like you said, I hope it does well with critics and the box office. Nathan deserves it and it will allow for more people to discover our captain. I hope it has some punch, the only movie it really has to worry about on its opening weekend is Ice Age 2, which unfortunately could steal some of its steam. But i'm going to keep optimistic. I have a feeling that critics are going to enjoy it as well. I think they'll find it to be good fun. Nothing outstandingly amazing, but something they'd recommend seeing.
