You know I thought it was just a rug from Inara's trunk or maybe some leftover curtains. But it looks like there must have been some sewing involved.

"A cloak worn by Mal in the sci-fi adventure Serenity. Mal wears the cloak to disguise himself when he goes to rescue Inara. It is made from dark red velvet like fabric with red lace trim around the bottom and has a shawl sewn onto the hood which has a red flower design on it and tassels around the edges"
