I just came across this site while I was looking for Firefly audio files. This is site trying to get Firefly Seaon 2?! They need as many browncoats as they can get to go there and say Yes, they are for it!!

It's all in an effort to bring our beloved show back... We all want to see it back, in any form, be it on the big screen or better, small screen as a mini-series plug for a full-fledged series. I look at how Battlestar Galactica was brought back reimagined, and wonder when this method of going mini will catapult Firefly the way it deserves to.
You either love or hate BSG, but in reality, what and how they promoted that show is phenomenal, and the growing following is astounding.. though, they've strayed a bit and gone, yikes, political.. the stories are still good and the character development is right there...
Anyway, just some small thoughts...
Sign up any petitions, as they may help.. and surely will.. Best bet that you check out other threads for addresses to write corporate offices and submit a written letter. I'm sure any fellow Browncoat will assist on those exact thread links to some addresses.. Do it!
In the meanwhile, stay shiney!!! It will happen. The cast is all for it. Joss is for it. If we can do our part in support, in any way, then we've contributed to the cause to get our Firefly back..

There may be contract issues with Universal now with the movie rights of Firefly, so it may go big screen before possibly going back to the small screen.. Ironically, Universal also runs BSG on SciFi, so I wonder if a deal may be cut to run Firefly as a mini... just a gut feeling.

My understanding is, Fox owns the rights to Firefly, so they'd have to sell it, or meaning, another network would have to pay for the outright rights to it in order to continue the series..
Any attempts at a season two would have to bypass Fox in some kind of shiney cash for the franchise rights.. at least how I understand it. If Fox is raking in on the DVD profits, they may hold out for a while, or ask a mighty high price... BUT, then again, they seem like idiots at Fox and may not squirm at selling it off!
