I don't know if this has been discussed or not, I'm fairly new to the 'verse. However, I thought I'd share with you one of the ideas I had.

I am a member of several other online communities, varrious interests and such. I recently discovered Firefly/Serenity with the BDM coming to DVD.

I offered on several of my online communities that if they asked, and supplied me with an address I would buy anyone there a copy of Serenity.

The only condition I put on it was: Watch it. If you like it great, if you love it better! If you don't like it, give it to someone you think might.

I know it sounds expensive, but it doesn't have to be. You don't necessarily have to buy your Serenities new (though I think I will, just to boost Amazon sales and such. Twenty bucks here and there... small price to pay.) You can get previously viewed copies at any large movie chain. I live in a relitivly small town and we have no less than 3 large video rental stores.

If they like the movie as much as I did, and many of you I suspect, then they'll go out and buy the series and the comic books and... etc.
