"Inara" is Arabic for "illumination," "light," or "enlightenment." Inara studied at House Madrasa. "Madrasa" means "school," sometimes with religious connotations. Buffy has a fair number of Arabic terms in it as well, particularly when Willow casts spells.

As for the question I have, does anybody know where I can get a Firefly poster, as pictured on the left hand column in the homepage? I click on it and am told it's no longer available. Can't find any on Ebay either.
