Hi there,

I just finished my newest songvid. No special theme, just a "Why I love Firefly" kind of promotional vid that I can show to my friends when they ask me: "What is that show all about?"

The music is an Argentine tango. That might seem odd at first, but when you look into the history of that kind of music, it is quite fitting. Tango developed in Buenos Aires and Montevideo at the beginning of the 20th century as the music of the portenos, the harbour people: Dockworkers, whores, petty thiefs and smugglers. Tango is about their desires and worries. It is full of tension and emotion, but also full of rage and agression. It fits Firefly quite well.

You will need the free XVid codec ( http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/) to play it. Also the sound messes up on some players. WinAmp and the Windows Media Player both work okay, though.
