I live in Japan and about a week ago I was watching some TV and there is this one show that comes on every week where they talk about rare and life threatening medical conditions and then see if the guests (random celebrities) are in the danger zone.

Anyways, during one of the segments where they have actors act out how one contracts the illness, I hear Firefly music! One of the songs was one of the more action oriented songs. Then, in the end they played the piece from the end of The Message.

I was just really surprised when I saw this and it's amazing the strange places Firefly shows up.

That's not the first time I've heard music being pulled and used elsewhere like that, particularly in Asian TV (all over, not just Japan--my personal favorite is LotR music cropping up in a Bengali soap opera, though I doubt anyone saw royalty checks for that one).

But it's a fun observation {^^}. What's the name of the show, by the way? KF

Lord, I'm walking your way. Let me in, for my feet are sore, my clothes are ragged.
Look in my eyes, Lord, and my sins will play out on them as on a screen. Read them all.
Forgive what you can and send me on my path. I will walk on until you bid me rest.

Thanks for the update!!! Will have to let my Japanese friends know about it if you get me the name. Can't remember if I've asked ya or not, but where are you in Japan? I've bummed around Nagasaki, Kumamoto, and Okinawa. Longest was Nagasaki for college. Thanks
