Heyas all new to this site but have loved firefly since I bought the complete dvd when it came out. What a great show, and I am super excited about the idea of a season 2 ! Just got 1 ? though what is shepard book's secret? Was he some kinda x-commando or assasin? Any ideas?

I am almost positive that he was an operative at one time. Kind of like that guy that was in the movie Serenity. The assassin fellow...I think Book was something like that at one time.
