Another Serenity Outtake question

Just saw the outtakes from the BDH for the second time last night. What was going on when Nathan starts dancing? It looks like something was cut out.

BTW Joss should have left the Mal/Inara moment (deleted scenes)in the BDH. Great acting by both of them.

If you get the visual companion with the script, Inara was supposed to follow him out and they almost kiss but end up holding one another (if memory serves me right).
