Question about Trading Cards

I recently bought 3 boxes of Serenity trading cards, which should be coming in the post any day now!!!!
But I was just wondering if the autograph cards have actually been touched and signed by the actors, or if they are autos.
And if they used pieces of actual costumes that appeared onscreen, how are there so many costume cards?

If anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate it.
