So for Christmas I got both Firefly on DVD and Serenity. I can't believe that I missed out on this show when it was on. (in reality I never even heard about it). I went and saw Serenity and came out loving the film. I then discovered that it was based on Firefly.

This is by far in my top ten of the greatest shows ever made.

Watching the DVD extras I decided to check out Fireflyfans.net and hope to meet other fans of the show.

Hey, I was in the exact same boat as you, when I saw the movie when it was released on DVD and then immediatly went out and purchased the TV Series Set, and fell in love all over again. Now Im addicted!!!!!

Its surprising how many people actually know about the show when you talk to people around you, I was actually quite shocked.

Anyway congrats on the find!!

I am late on everything Joss. I didn't start watching Buffy until they came out on DVD. I was in college when Buffy premiered and by the time I got around to having time to watch they were in Season 4.

I didn't feel like I would know what the hell was going on. Now I love Buffy but Firefly is so much better.
