What's with the ad campaign?

Okay so maybe I just don't watch enough TV, but I have only seen 1 ad for the DVD, and it was really short and didn't mention any of the awesome reviews Serenity got. Has anybody else seen any commercials? Are they good?

I've seen the commercials three times. Not much coverage, but then again, I don't watch a lot of TV. To me, although I happen to like the commercials in their own regard, they're following the exact same path as the movie trailers. I'm not going to complain *too* much since that's how I ended up finding my way to the 'verse, but I don't think it's the right way to handle the DVD personally. Not that I have a better idea, and I'll be one of the first to admit that Serenity is pretty tough to adequately describe and make appealing in 30 seconds or less. I don't envy the marketing team - but I would also like to see a little more advertising saturation!

I have seen 2 commercials so far. The frequency of commercials shown is pretty normal for a DVD release. Usually, they don't start showing a lot of commercials until the week that it comes out. Expect more commercials next week.
