... Who else has the series on DVD and can answer my question?

... I just finished the last episode, "Objects in Space", then watched the Special Features . . .

... Under "Deleted Scenes", one of them is a scene wherein Inara is arguing with the Capn' about her leaving the ship. . . a deleted scene? I just watched it IN THE EPISODE. The explanation states, "It was aired in the original broadcasts but was deleted in the DVDs.." ... but it wasn't.

... Did I go and spend my cash on some clever knock-offs?

The boxes are beauty - look like the real thing . . .

... Anybody out there know what's up?

I was puzzled by that as well, but if you watch OIS again, it is not the same dialogue right before the "I'm a big girl"-part.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

don't worry, i did the exact same thing. it took me about 3 viewings of the deleted scene directly followed by the actual scene to figure it out.
