Hey gang, I hope it's okay to post this here - not strictly related to Firefly, but I wanted to share news about a show I wrote that's being performed in Northeastern PA - I don't even get to see it 'cause I'm performing a show here in Charlotte! - I'm posting this at the last minute, as the show opens tonight (Friday Dec. 2) for two performances only, Friday and Saturday! It suddenly occurred to me that while I don't know anyone in PA, I do have a fellowship of Browncoats out there, and someone in northeastern PA might be looking for something fun to do this weekend that might also indirectly support a fellow Browncoat in pursuit of his art.

The show is called "Juggler to the King" and the details are below for the venue. It's a musical prequel to Hamlet about Yorick, and it's based on the legend of "The Juggler of Notre Dame." Among the elements involved in the story are a close-knit, rag-tag group of friends traveling around looking for jobs where they can get them, and a powerful empire under an evil rule - so in that way it's kinda got some firefly elements, eh? In fact, it features a cameo by a young girl who's powerful and a little crazy (Ophelia), an agreable cleric, and the heroes are followed around by a band of dangerous, hungry renegades intent on destruction!

Oh, and if anyone wouldn't mind terribly, I can't access the UB board from work, so I'd sure appreciate anyone willing to copy and post this over there.

Just wanted to get a shout out there that our theater group, The Rainbow's End Theatre Company
(a 100% non-profit, volunteer imagenuity/performance group of young people ages 5 through
18), will be performing Stan Peal's JUGGLER TO THE KING Friday, December 2 and Saturday,
December 3, 2005 at La Dolce Casa in Tamaqua, PA!!! We're really excited about this show and
it's been GREAT working with Stan! Anyone in the northeastern part of PA (or general vacinity)
who would like to attend the show should call us at 570-645-3463 and we'll hold your tickets and
give you directions. This is a dinner theater with a wonderful assortment of great Italian foods!!
Cost is $24 for adults and $16 for anyone ages 12 and under.

PS (from Stan) If you're in Charlotte NC and want to see a campy musical western (what Browncoat wouldn't?!) check out our show at the link below - next Tuesday is Pay-What-You-Can night!
