I wouldn’t normally watch Stargate Atlantis but im currently stuck in bed with the flu so I figured “what the hell it’ll pass the time until Rome comes on.” Anyway a few minutes into tonight’s episode the silence of the night was disturbed by a cry of “IS THAT JEWEL!!?” Yes Jewel on Stargate Atlantis in full Wrath make up spouting the kind of contrived OTT “I shall establish my character and her motivations in this next highly unnatural sentence” dialogue that Stargate is known for.

Cant really fault her performance, she did well with what she was given but damn that was a shock.

Anyone else see it?

If she was going to do Stargate I wish it had of been SG1… (Same dialogue better cast)

I agree - she did her best with what was there. I didn't recognise her until she spoke and then I couldn't match that 'sweetie' voice with a wraith.

Def think she'd have been better used in SG1 - am not really a fan of Atlantis - bit on the weak side but still good to see she's working away!

Yeah. I was watching that one and in the "guest credits" I see her name! I hadn't really gotten into FF at that time when it was aired (oh, those Dark Ages!

) but now...She did a really great job.

It was funny watching her, because of the make up. It didn't look like her as much as it sounded like her. I dig her voice, dunno why. I just do.

I watch it now b/c of the Farscape cast members :)

But I did watch all the previous seasons on DVD a friend loaned me. It's not bad, you just can't take it too seriously.

huge fan of atlantis, and this was one of the best episodes of the season, got a great rating in SFX thanks to jewel's appearance. she was fantastic, loved her in it.
