Greetings folks.

I was wondering if a lovely music geek out there could clear up a little conundrum for me. It occured to me while listening to some old 'The Signal' podcasts.

In the trailer for Serenity when River drops her coat and starts her crap-kicking, there's this techno/dance thing that sounds like M.I.A. (see Allmusic.com)...mercifully, they didn't include it in the movie itself, but it's a kickass track and I'd like to know what it is.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

RIVERGODDESS

Hah, I did some research on this myself, and immediately bought both songs on iTunes. Ok, so the one where River drops her coat and begins to kick som butt is called "Skylight" by Overseer, and I believe it is on one of the Blade movie soundtracks. The other one, which is at the beginning of one of the trailers (not sure which one) and is called "Club Foot" by Kasabian. Hope this helps! Both songs are pretty shiny. I put them in my Firefly mix!

Thanks for the info, Rivergoddess. Do you by any chance also know what music comes AFTER the River-butt-kicking scene in the trailer? That's the song that was stuck in my head after seeing the trailer a couple of dozen times.
