Wow. After all the hype and waiting years for Serenity, we're back to ground zero. Ok, almost there. It doesn't seem like there's a whole lot of news about what's going to happen next in the verse ... at least with Summer, Nathan and the gang involved. Is it over?

It's my hope the DVDs will spur new interest and keep our ship in the air. I look forward to the graphic novels, but film is my, and probably most everyone else's, preference. And Joss is so involved with other projects I hope he doesn't drop the verse for too long.

Right after the series was cancelled it seemed like there was a lot of news on how the process was going. Doesn't seem to be much of that anymore.

But I shall remain...as optimistic as I can!

That is all any of us can do at this point BlackoutNights. That and keep introducing the DVD set & the soon to be out DVD of the movie to each & every person we can. We keep converting people & keep the fanbase growing.

Of course we are far better off now than we were when the show was put on hiatus. We have the movie, comics, books, cards, action figures, shirts, posters, an RPG & other things made by fans.

So long as interest stays high & there is money to be made I am sure the powers that be will continue to find a way to feed our need for Serenity.
