Someone has probably already said something about this somewhere on this site before, and I probably look like an idiot for mentioning it, but there is an online petition to bring back Firefly. There's only 473 signatures, and I figure there has to be way more than 473 Browncoats out there.

I've signed about ten petitions with around 400 signatures, it may be futile but I can't stop. As soon as I stop, some big cheese in a company will use the excuse "Firefly fans? The petitions didn't get any signatures, to hell with the show." =/

You are absolutely right - there's a lot more HC BCs around than that petition shows, which only underscores how futile and misleading online petitions can be and why they are quickly dismissed my most folk. They can be rigged too which is why none of the PTB would seriously consider the results of one - besides, they have in-house methods they trust more and pay a lot for.
