I am jonesin' for some serious minutiae, people! This is the bytefest I love. Help me please, come add your observations.

This one has given me the heebie jeebies every time I've seen Serenity:

The crew is loading the mule for the heist. Kaylee is lying on the floor, tinkering with one of the engines. Her head is right in the flow of this scary looking distortion wave swirling off the engine, and the engine is making no noise that I've noticed. Spooky.

As the mule takes off out of the cargo bay and peels into a left turn, the music does a whoosh whoosh thing that sounds like a bit in a song I just can't place and it's making me crazy. AC/DC? Hell's Belles? Anyone have any ideas?

As Mal and Zoe argue about leaving the guy for the Reavers, the ship is leaving atmosphere. It's loud and there's bright light from the bridge behind Zoe. At the end of that scene, Mal's saying they'd be finished if they lost this job, they break out of atmo, and the ship goes dark and silent. Love that bit.

Did anyone else notice this? During the scene with the Oaty Bar Ad about the time River was triggered, there is a news bulletin in the background, about Reavers attacking, and the only survivors were some who were locked in a vault?
