Embers posted a picture of a Jayne doll that somehow gave me a good idea for Halloween.

When I was little, I would make stuffed dummies/scarecrows of people by taking winter clothing and stuffing them full of blankets and assembling them to look like a person. I'd put on the ski mask type winter hat so I didn't have to deal with the face. Gloves, boots, and everything. I'd set the dummie in the lawn or near the stairs for trick-or-treaters.

Now I'm guessing some people are planning to dress up as crew of Serenity/Firefly for Halloween so it's not like some of you don't have the outfits. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a Mal or a Jayne or a Zoe or whoever sitting on your porch with a bowl of candy?

It would be really awesome if someone had like the whole crew, but that would be hard to comeby all those clothes. Maybe you should look in your closet. Just a thought.

I live in a dorm, so I don't have a porch and college students have a tendancy to steal things that aren't being watched, but if I were living at home, I think I'd give this a try. What do you think? If someone actually did this, I'd be glad to host pictures on my site.
