Hello. I am new to the 'verse also. I recently saw my first episode of Firefly on Space channel's Labor Day Joss-a-thon (hehe) and was instantly hooked. I now have the box set on DVD and have watched each episode twice, as well as seen the movie. I loved the movie and have also made my cuz a Firefly fan now. Anyways, on the topic of that guy's crappy review, it's been my experience that "professional" reviewers rarely like movies. However, every review I've read by normal people has been, 9 times out of 10, completely praising the movie. So keep trying to keep Firefly in the air and don't take that guy seriously!

Sorry. Apparently I'm really bad at this. I meant to attach this to the "Serenity Ranked No. 1" thread but instead I started my own. Oh well. Apparently the power of stupidity can stop me. Nothing else though.

And - hey - welcome! Ba da ba bump ba da! (I love this next part) - here's a bonus for posting - a brand NEW episode! Having seen all the eps twice you are at the place where a lot of people find the scripts from the shows and start reading them trying to find anything new. Cool thing about that is there actually exists a script to an ep that wasn't filmed. Another cool thing is with your FF acumen you'll be able to read it and "see" the ep in your head. Cool thing #3? It's a really great script! I think it would have made my top 5 eps if it had been filmed:
