I recently saw SERENITY which prompted me to buy the FIREFLY series. I was overwhelmed by the movie and the series especially. This is one of the most solid entertainment pieces ever made. I'm not surprised it only made it one year on FOX. It seems like the execs. are miles away from the end consumer really wants. You see this alot in all of the crap thats on TV today. There definitely needs to be a second season, mini-series or 2nd film. Who owns the rights?

Technically, Fox still owns the TV rights, but apparently they dropped a few figures in case Universal's looking to buy. It all verges on how the movie does.

Rumor has it that Fox still owns the TV rights, but never say never!

They said we would never get a movie & we see how wrong that bit of prophecy was, don't we.

No telling what the future holds until we see how the movie winds up in the box office. We're kind of on the bubble since box office #s have been less than stellar.

Take friends & family to see it. Share your enthusiasm for the show w/ those that might be interested. The more people we can get into theatres the better our odds of a shiny future.
