I've never been exposed to the firefly universe, and didn't know very much about it, before monday when I saw the movie. Fortunately, I found the movie to be quite a bit to my liking.

To understand what and why I plead with you, gentle reader, you should at least know I am a bit of a ship nut. While not so close as to knowing silhoutte IDs of current wet navies, for instance, I like to view pictures of such things; Waste time reading specifications that aren't realistic or particularly canon in any way and just to gaze at those ships that sail stars and dream.

Dream of fiery destruction that is, as I prefer warships. Though the firefly is itself well enough documented, I have not found any significant amount of material regarding alliance warships.

I am aware that the alliance warships were both more varied and different than the ones seen on TV, and because of this I am particularly intrested in movie shots involving that scene involving several alliance vessels.

Beggars can't be choosers however, and I'll take any reasonable shot. However, so far there only seems to be one, small and blurry picture of an alliance warship on the 'net.

Can such pictures, or even wallpapers of that particular movie scene be created? I can only hope someone will come up to the plate.

DONCOAT

Theres a 2 or 3 page spread of Alliance warships in the Visual Companion. I haven't seen these on the web yet. I'd scan some for you but I don't want to break the spine of my book. Maybe you should consider buying a copy for yourself...
